Services

DO NOT be afraid to ask us for any customization that will improve your sailing experience. There is very little we cant do for you, our customer.

Regular maintenance prolongs the life of these expensive machines and keeps them functioning properly. Although they may look just fine on the outside, poor maintenance results in friction and inefficiency and allows corrosion to set in. Your boat’s winches should be serviced at least once or twice during the sailing season depending on the frequency and extent of your sailing endeavors, and again in the fall

Rig Tuning

Rig Tuning.jpg

While powerboaters fine-tune their engines, sailors should consider fine-tuning their rigs. Doing it may seem intimidating, but it shouldn't be. Our experienced riggers can do it in just a few hours with no hassle for you. The reward is easier and faster sailing throughout the coming season.

Lifelines form a safety perimeter around your boat and should be inspected on an annual basis. Preventive maintenance is not just a prudent boating practice, but in the case of lifeline systems, it could be a lifesaver. We can inspect, service, and replace your Lifeline perimeter so you can have peace of mind out on the water.

Mast 1.jpg

While it may not be necessary to remove the mast every season we do advise the occasional service. Over time, water that may seep into the mast or mast step can compromise grounding of the rig and other electrical connections. This could expose the boat to repeated electrical problems and excessive lightning strike damage. Removal and storage of masthead instrumentation will save wintertime wear and tear on moving parts.

Unstepping/Stepping

A splice is a way of terminating a rope or joining two ends of rope together without using a knot. Apart from being bulky and unsightly, even a correctly tied knot can cause significant loss of strength to a rope. We can save you money by inspecting and replacing all your cords and lines in any season
